By default, WordPress doesn't allow user's to change their username once their account is created. MemberMouse bypasses this restriction and allows members to change their username from the My Account page. If you'd like to keep member's from being able to change their username you can configure MemberMouse to remove the username field from the My Account page.
Follow the steps below to configure if members can change their username:
- From the MemberMouse menu go to General Settings, and then click on the Other Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the WordPress User Options section.
To instruct MemberMouse to keep members from being able to change their username, uncheck the check box. If you leave the box checked, members will be able to change their username from the My Account page.
- Click the button to save your settings.
